Rachelle Elliot

Rachelle has been Artistic Director for Joubert Singers since 2003, when she was in a her final year of undergraduate studies in conducting with Dr Neil McEwan.
In addition to her work with Joubert Singers, Rachelle is currently Artistic Director and Conductor for Just Voices, Nordic Voices,  Parramatta City Choir and the conductor for the Caecilian Choir.

Rachelle is a passionate advocate for music-making. This has led her to facilitate massed choir collaborations, choral workshops and concerts working with local councils, various church parishes and other community focused organizations.  She is the founder for In Harmony Festival, which celebrates cultural and social diversity through the joy of singing.

Rachelle teaches privately and is the voice tutor at Our Lady of Mercy College Parramatta. She teaches flute and piano at Abbottsford Primary School where she also directs the Instrumental Ensemble Program.  Rachelle has experience as an educator including VET courses in Music and the Entertainment Industry. She is also a tertiary lecturer in Vocal Ensemble Studies and Business Management,  as well as an examiner and Eisteddfod adjudicator.
